Arranged an AA inspection with the dealer at a cost of £200 Double checked with them and all agreed AA attended, as agreed and the car had been allegedly soldDidn’t even have the decency to let us know.we were then told they don’t reserve cars…incompetent at best…can only assume they didn’t want the car checked over..out of pocket by £75. Buyer beware

Thank you for sharing your experience and leaving us feedback. We apologise you feel we are incompetent and could not meet your requirements on this occasion. Someone from your family rang us to notify of arranging an AA inspection on a BMW we had in stock. The AA turned up exactly 6 days after your call. You did not leave a deposit to secure the vehicle. You cannot expect us to hold a vehicle and turn away prospective buyers on your say so. Our sales office is open to the public 7 days a week. We sold the vehicle a few days ago, your contact details were not available for us to notify you. Furthermore, your assumptions are incorrect. All our vehicles are independently inspected pre-sale and any further inspections are always welcome. In future we would recommend you secure a vehicle via deposit to avoid it selling and make the effort to seal the deal asap. Good luck with your future endeavours!

Top car dealership, with great expert staff who are willing to put themselves out in order to provide the best customer expirence and truly make buying a used car a great expirence. The staff at Carstop unlike most dealerships let the cars do the talking rather than sales staff to let you as customer make your own decision. I bought my first car, a Honda Jazz, from these fellows almost a year ago and am very glad to have done so. Polite and straight forward. Admittedly they gave me a pretty short test drive, but I think this was because I hadn't driven since passing my test and showed it!

Drove 2 hours to see and buy the car. On arrival it wasn't as described, the car was heavily marked on most panels on the interior and exterior. No where to test drive the vehicle apart from a very short circuit. To top it off the Salesman was completely uninterested, and mumbled about 5 words during the 45minutes there.

Unfortunately on this occasion we were unable to meet your very high expectations of viewing a 10 year old USED car with over 100k miles. As explained by our salesman in more than 5 words to you, the car was parked on the forecourt in the scorching sun and it was showing up with swirl marks, not damage. The wear on interior/exterior was consistent with age/miles of the vehicle. You was taken on the most efficient test drive available to us at 5pm in peak traffic. Lo and behold within 24hrs of you viewing the vehicle it was sold to another very satisfied customer! We would recommend you search for a brand new car to suit your budget and expectations. Brilliant standards set by carstop, I came to view the vehicle and a good set of guys who let me look at the vehicle without standing over me, I had a test drive and was happy with it, had a look at the paperwork and I was satisfied with all i wanted to know, furthermore we sorted the payment out and they taxed the vehicle and i was on my way. A smooth & peaceful experience from the seller from start to finish. Credit goes to the sales guys who went above and beyond with all questions I had asked, not forgetting the cracking cup of coffee they provided. Will definitely be visiting in the future for my next car. Thanks a lot guys and keep up the smashing work.
