They tried to hide the problems with the car. The car i purchased had multiple electrical issues, and had things glued on. They said its all cosmetic, why try hide it? By glueing? And the main problems were electrical functions were not working. So not just cosmetic at all. Even if was cosmetic, you advise the customer and reflect that in the price. Avoid these.

We find it deeply concerning and strongly disagree with the exaggerated claims in your review, as they are unfounded and do not align with the condition of the car or our sales approach. You purchased a 10 year old used car which was thoroughly inspected/test driven by yourself for over 2 hours before purchase. At no point was there any intention to hide issues nor are there any electrical faults present on the car; we strive to maintain transparency in all our dealings. Nevertheless, a full refund was issued when you raised your concerns (of an exterior trim) a few days later. We were under no obligation to do so. We are a reputable small business that takes pride in providing quality vehicles and excellent customer service. Naturally we are disappointed to read your review and the attempt to defame us with your comments. We wish you the best of luck with your future purchases.

Well, what can I say! Spoke to them on the phone regarding a car, looking to finance, got advised not to bother with finance, try the bank, too many miles to finance the car, really strange as only 4 cars in stock under 100K! Very unhelpful, so I will go to my bank and go elsewhere.

You enquired about a vehicle with over 140K miles and our sales advisor clarified that the vehicle would not qualify for finance due to the mileage being over the 120K threshold and would impact on financing eligibility. Alternatively you was advised to apply for a personal loan. I don’t see what other support you was expecting from us. Unfortunately we do not offer any financial support to customers like yourselves who do not have the funds to purchase vehicles yet are quick to spread negativity. My nephew purchased his first car today from Carstop, upon arrival we were greeted and handed the keys to look around the car we were interested in. They left us to it and was no hassle or pressure to purchase which allowed us time to do our inspections and look around the car, the car is in perfect condition and the 1 issue that we saw was fixed within 2 minutes. Nothing was too much hassle and it was a nice straight easy process. Would highly recommend!

Arranged an AA inspection with the dealer at a cost of £200 Double checked with them and all agreed AA attended, as agreed and the car had been allegedly soldDidn’t even have the decency to let us know.we were then told they don’t reserve cars…incompetent at best…can only assume they didn’t want the car checked over..out of pocket by £75. Buyer beware

Someone from your family rang us to notify of arranging an AA inspection on a BMW we had in stock. The AA turned up exactly 6 days after your call. You did not leave a deposit to secure the vehicle. You cannot expect us to hold a vehicle and turn away prospective buyers on your say so. Our sales office is open to the public 7 days a week. We sold the vehicle a few days ago, your contact details were not available for us to notify you. Furthermore, your assumptions are incorrect. All our vehicles are independently inspected pre-sale and any further inspections are always welcome. In future we would recommend you secure a vehicle via deposit to avoid it selling and make the effort to seal the deal asap. Good luck with your future endeavours!

Top car dealership, with great expert staff who are willing to put themselves out in order to provide the best customer expirence and truly make buying a used car a great expirence. The staff at Carstop unlike most dealerships let the cars do the talking rather than sales staff to let you as customer make your own decision. I bought my first car, a Honda Jazz, from these fellows almost a year ago and am very glad to have done so. Polite and straight forward. Admittedly they gave me a pretty short test drive, but I think this was because I hadn't driven since passing my test and showed it!
